Allow me to introduce…, Tucks…!
Just like the Monalisa certain items should be seen by many and often. Over the years of my life many people have told me about the wonders of cats…, how much joy they bring, what great companions they make, their healing abilities and much much more. I’ve had cats all my life from the age of 6 I still remember Mr Con entering our house with a shopping trolly. It was presented to me and immediately I released the drawstrings and peered inside. A little bundle of ginger with doe kitten eyes looked back at me. My joy was overwhelming and into my arms I drew in Ginger…, my newly named first kitten cat…!! Then there was Blacky who gave birth to Div and Flossy a good 15 years later and at least 3 more cats I came upon …. My Princess … a cat of pedigree and status from the Siamese Dynasty you know…, the first cat of royalty I was truly happy and privileged to serve. A brief 3 years later and I had to return her to heartbroken mum, it was a very sad day. I still have another 3 at least to go but I will let their memories be, save my emotions start to weaken. We now have Blackfoot (the cat with the white paws!) I say ‘we’ for it’s the family’s cat who we all love yet since or father has passed he’s been very sad and lonely. However now that I’m in settled accommodation I have my own cats…, yes 2…, twins…, a girl and a boy…! SeeToe, because he likes to look dreamily at his cute tootsies all day long then eat, sleep and disappear! Just like that! Anyway this post should be about Tucks…, his demanding and stern sister!
Tucks likes to play chess also, it’s one of the reasons why we get on so well…, we share an interest. As you can see she has an interesting marking on her chest- a circular/oval big dot…, I think it looks nice. She always comes and finds me wherever I be in the house she likes to also sleep at the foot of my bed and jumps up on it when I’m half asleep with a scream which makes me jump every time…, I think it’s done for fun??
